Cresco Resco — Dynamic Location Template
A reusable Shopify location architecture that lets multiple retail locations share one visual template while pulling unique store information from structured Shopify data.
Overview
Cresco Resco operates multiple physical restaurant-equipment locations. Instead of creating and maintaining every store page independently, I built a reusable Shopify location template designed to populate each location from structured data.
The goal
Create one scalable location system that could support multiple stores while still giving each location its own address, contact information, imagery, services, FAQs and local content.
One template, multiple locations
Location content is managed through Shopify metaobjects and dynamic data rather than being hard-coded separately into every page. This allows the visual structure to stay consistent while each location supplies its own information.
- Metaobject data
- Location template
- Individual location pages
Architecture, not a publication status. The Fresno store is the live example shown here.
Dynamic content
Each location page is assembled from fields rather than duplicated markup:
- Hero image
- Per location
- Title / introduction
- Per location
- Address
- Per location
- Phone
- Per location
- Hours
- Per location
- Services
- Per location
- Map
- Per location
- FAQ
- Per location
Responsive experience
The template needed to handle large amounts of store-specific information without becoming difficult to scan on smaller screens. Desktop uses wider content groupings, while mobile reorganizes location details, service information and FAQs into a straightforward single-column flow.
From design to browser

Final experience
My role
I designed and built the reusable location template, created the required structured Shopify data definitions, connected those fields to the frontend through Liquid, and handled the responsive presentation of the location content.
Result
The finished system allows location pages to share one maintainable design while individual store information can be managed as structured Shopify content instead of duplicated page markup.
